  • He and Annie have 3 children, Emily 26, Tara 23 and Will 21and a son-in-law (married to Tara) Josh Toebbe 24
Education:
  • Grammar School thru High School in Birmingham, AL
  • Earned Eagle Scout Award in Scouting and was in Track, Mile and Cross-Country
  • Pre-Med at University of Mississippi 1973-1977
  • Universtiy of Alabama in Birmingham Medical School 1978-1982
  • Residency at Mayo Clinic, Surgery 1982-1987
  • Has been a general surgeon in Bowling Green since January 1989

Church & Christian Background:
  • Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior as a Freshman in college through Campus Crusade for Christ.
  • Discipled by the Navigators and worked in Navigator Campus Ministries in College and in the community until he was accepted into Medical School in 1978.
  • Worked with Christian Medical Society while at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
  • Helped found Trinity Presbyterian Church in Rochester, MN during his residency at Mayo Clinic.
  • Member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Dothan, AL from 1987-1989.
  • Member of Eastwood Baptist Church, Bowling Green, KY from 1989-1996.
  • Member of Living Hope Baptist Church, Bowling Green, KY from1996 to present.
  • Taught and worked with the churches’s high school program for two years.
  • He teaches 4th and 5th grade Sunday School presently
  • Medical Missions include Antigua, Honduras, Nicaragua and did missionary work in South East Asia.
  • Presently with his wife leads a couples’ small group
